What If You’re Here for More Than You Realize?

March 31, 20261 min read

There are moments in life that change us quietly at first.

A near-miss.

An unexpected survival.

A season so heavy we aren’t sure we’ll come through it.

I’ve lived enough years—and survived enough close calls—to know this:

we are far stronger, far softer, and far more resilient than we ever give ourselves credit for.

I shouldn’t be here.

Not after being hit by a car as a child.

Not after the illness that nearly ended everything.

Not after the losses life asked me to carry.

But I am here.

Alive.

Healthy.

Clear.

Grateful in a way only time and hardship can teach.

And because I’m still here,

I feel a responsibility to live my days fully and honestly—and to help others do the same.

This week, I’m sharing five stories about resilience, gratitude, and beginning again.

Five reminders to help you slow down, breathe deeper, and remember what matters.

Five gentle invitations to imagine a life where you don’t push so hard,

because you finally know your own strength.

If you read along this week, my hope is simple:

that something in these posts opens a door you’ve been afraid to walk through

and reminds you that your story isn’t finished yet.

Stay close.

There’s a lot to share.

And even more to feel.

Has it ever crossed your mind that your life might be preparing you for something you can’t quite name yet?

What if the real reason you’re still here is larger and far kinder than anything you’ve imagined so far?
